The 3.3-mile-long corridor saw 185 crashes during the four-year analysis period. Continuing development at the north end continues to draw more traffic to the highway. The proposed project widens the highway to provide three lanes, adds new connections to US 45 and US 60, builds a multi- use path throughout, softens sharp curves, and improves intersections. KYTC is currently acquiring right-of-way and beginning utility relocation work from US 45 to US 62. Please join KYTC September 21 to learn more about the proposed project. All written and oral comments received will become a part of the official record for the project. Official records will be made available for review and copying only after an Open Records Request has been received and approved. All Open Records Requests must be submitted to the office of Legal Services, Transportation Cabinet Office Building, 200 Mero Street, Frankfort, Kentucky 40622.
