PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING Reconstruction of KY 1286/Friendship Rd In McCracken County K K Item # 1-153.00 Monday, July 29, 2019 5:00 7:00 p.m., CDT Lone Oak Elementary School 301 Cumberland Ave, Paducah, KY 42001 KENTUCKY TRANSCK TION CABINET KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET This proposed project would improve KY 1286 (Friendship Road) from US 45/Lone Oak Rd to US 60/Blandville Rd on the west side of Paducah. Proposed improvements to improve safety and traffic flow include widening lanes and shoulders, as well as improved alignment of curves. considering a range and environmental studies are expected to be completed later this year to help KYTC engineers, design staff, and consultants define the costs and impacts associated with the proposed project. The purpose of this meeting is to get input from the public, to assist in the decision-making process. KYTC is seeking your input on alternative preferences and to gain an understanding of important community and environment resources. Handouts containing information about this project, comment sheets, and displays will be available at the meeting. The meeting will be conducted in an open format with no formal presentation. Representatives from the KYTC and their consultants will be available to answer questions and accept comments. Written and oral comments will be accepted during the meeting. Written comments will be accepted, and information made available, up to 15 days after the meeting at the KYTC District One Office at 5501 KY Dam Rd, Paducah, KY. Written and oral comments from this meeting will become a part of the official record for the project. Once compiled, the meeting record will be made available for review and copying only after an Open Records Request has been received and approved.
