The Home Builders Association of Western Kentucky is happy to announce the winner of the 2020 Jack Marshall Memorial Scholarship. Jack Marshall was a long time member, supporter and upcoming president of the HBAWK, when he passed away. Jack devoted many hours of service and leadership to the association and in this area's residential construction industry. This scholarship is funded by our annual charity golf outing being held this year on September, 17th 2020 at Drake Creek Golf Club. After careful consideration of all candidates, the members of the board decided that Cody Browning of MeCracken County will receive this year's scholarship. Cody has achieved many successes during his young adult life. Mentioning a few; obtained Eagle Scout by 14, Chamber of Commerce Youth LEADmember, Student Rotarian of the Pa- ducah Rotary Club, skilled cyclist, and Ist place champion in the 2016 Chess Federation Nationals. These accomplishments are exceptional and exciting; however, Cody's future is what is most exciting. Murray State University is where Cody will continue his educa- tion in Construction Management and plans to obtain his real estate license. We wish Cody well in his future endeavors and congratulate him on his accomplishment. The Home Builders Association of Western Kentucky is grateful for all of the ap- plications that we received this year and encourage all young people planning to go into the building industry to apply next year.
